Hi There!
My name is Nicola Cutcher and this website is a record of things that interest me. I'm hoping to keep expanding the site when I have time and am impassioned to write for whatever reason. I love writing, I love communicating, I love sharing ideas - the internet enables me to do all of this. I am currently trying to break into journalism professionally.
This website is a curious mixture of things. I started the site when I was 16 and have decided to keep everything that I uploaded in those early stages. It's partly a nostalgic and personal archive, whilst also providing a home for my new writing. I have added articles that I wrote for The Warwick Boar whilst at University and shall hopefully continue to add stories as I begin to write more prolifically. I have decided to keep up old theatre reviews, as well as the now somewhat embarrassing account of my Pop Idol encounter with Will Young. It is very gushing. However, I don't believe in false pride. Writing is about being in the moment, and this site truthfully chronicles what I think, and have thought, in the heat of the moment. You can read about my travels - a detailed account of my month long expedition to Venezuela with World Challenge when I was 16, my nine-month round-the-world trip when I was 18, my summer in Chile and last summer's jaunt to India. These were all before global warming entered my consciousness.
Basically this is my place - my take on the world, my uncensored expression. Feel free to browse - hopefully you will find things that interest you or help you in some way.
